Project / Multi-role mobile applications

MyTimor.

Three apps, one connected service.

Customers, drivers and merchants take part in the same service, but each needs a different mobile workflow. MyTimor brings those roles together for transport, delivery and food ordering.

The product

MyTimor supports transport, goods delivery and food ordering in Timor-Leste. Its customer, driver and merchant applications serve different parts of an order, with T-PAY included in the product's payment flow.

My contribution

I developed the customer, driver and merchant applications in Flutter. I also worked on the database schema, REST APIs and real-time communication connecting the mobile applications.

I handled Android Play Store publication and internal testing channels.

Scope of the work

  • Role-specific customer, driver and merchant applications.
  • Backend interfaces and a shared data model for mobile workflows.
  • Real-time communication between parts of the service.
  • Android distribution and internal testing.

For a similar project

This project is relevant to a business planning a marketplace or delivery service that needs more than one mobile interface and the APIs connecting them.

The interfaces show connected but distinct responsibilities: customers choose and place orders, drivers verify deliveries, and merchants maintain menus and operating hours.
